Write a story that somehow incorporates the topic. The story does not have to be specifically about the topic. But should clearly incorporate the topic into the story.
Creative approaches are welcomed. But contest voters will be asked to consider the topic when making a choice for a winner.
Minimum length 1,000 words. Maximum Length 2,000 words.
Write a story using the Great Pumpkin as in the comic strip "Charlie Brown". These should be funny. I'm not looking for scary or a lesson to be learned. Just some funny stuff for folks to enjoy for the season.
The story should be based on the characters in the comic strip. Only those characters can be used in the story. If you'd like to add an image from the Charlie Brown Series that is also fine...
The contest winner will win half of the prize pool which is based on the number of entries. The second and third place winners will each share the remaining prize pool. The prize pool is currently 14.00 member dollars. There are 11 spots still open. If all open spots are used the prize pool will be 36.00 member dollars. In this contest at least 2 submissions must be made for the vote to begin.
