Never Won A Contest
Write a poem that explains to a child what truly has value in life. This can be about getting an education, finding a career that you love or something more philosophical like caring for others or being a good person that helps others.
The poem can be written in any style including free style. Be careful if you are attempting a "prose poem". That is a very specific form and a simple paragraph of prose isn't a prose poem. There is no length requirement.
You do not have to include the title of the contest in your piece. That is just the title!
This is for anyone that has NEVER won a contest of any kind here at FanStory. One of you will not be able to say that anymore. Good luck!
This is a Winless contest. Only authors that have never won first place may enter.
The contest winner will win half of the prize pool which is based on the number of entries. The second and third place winners will each share the remaining prize pool. The prize pool is currently 40.00 member dollars. There are 10 spots still open. If all open spots are used the prize pool will be 90.00 member dollars. In this contest at least 2 submissions must be made for the vote to begin.
Deadline: Contest is closed. Deadline was Monday, September 22, 2014.
