The feeling of slowly forgetting a past lover
I'm starting to forget the little things
Your laugh, calming as a summer breeze
Your smile, painting the sky like a sunset
The color of your eyes, like getting lost in a lush forest
How you looked at me, knowing I'm at home
The feeling when our hands touched, at peace, grounded in the moment
But I don't want to forget
That's why I'm writing this
So I don't forget the little things
