Who would've expected villainous behavior from an otter! Interesting to think about being trapped in the world we create in fiction. In a way, that's an absolute fact! Nice work.

I enjoyed your story. Very well written. I love the reference to fanstory. I wonder how I would react to being trapped forever. The artwork also suits the story. I wish you the very best in the contest.
With kind regards

This poem is not listed in the contest choices. Why is that?

Ah, so this is the fanstorians being trapped within their graft, not being able to escape as the key had been thrown away. That's my take on it. The best of luck. Ulla:)))

Note the magic animal and missing key, as per requirement. : )

I don't know how anyone writes a complete story in 50 words, but wow, did you rise to the challenge. This is hilarious. And it is true, we do seem to lock ourselves in when we are trying to write a good poem, or story, or a fifty word flash. Well done.

A great entry for the contest. You told a complete story with enough detail to imagine the scene, and in very few words. A wonderful twist in the last two words!
Best of luck,
Julie

I like this! Such a limited word count and yet you've composed an intriguing little story locking us all up and throwing away the key. Good use of the word "storied." Original and a very worthy contender. Good luck! Debbie

No wonder I couldn't get out of my bedroom yesterday! Who has the key to this thing?! I get claustrophobia. Very nice fifty word story for the writing prompt. Good luck.

What a magical, building a mansion for all the collective mad writers that gather each day wherever they live in the world to think about things, consider, be inspired and available in this enclave of creative people. Well done, blessings Roy
