There is a feel of fantasy in your words. I like the image of the little elephant "contemplating the crescent moon". I can see an elephant doing this, they are so smart. You also have a light feel and flow to your words that takes the reader to another place.

Cute, my friend. Very cute! I do love animals. They are a girt from God.
I wish we, mankind, would work together to better preserve the species becoming extinct. Elephants are one that is in danger.

I had to read this one! Let's hope that's how Abhamaru ends up. Beautifully presented. A poem that's simple on the surface but holds a hint at the need for conservation and kindness.

Well now, this was absolutely adorable. The Little elephant seems to be contemplating life in general. I liked how this seemed so simple and almost child like, but could be much deeper. Great poem. Gretchen
