A well written 3-6-9 formatted poem. Not sure how delightful it is to have the rooster crowing early in the morning, but the picture was delightfully colorful

Hi Pat, your poem has good humor. If your neighbors are farmers, they might be delighted by the Rooster's crow. Great photo choice. A pleasure to read. Xo. Margaret

Am excellent 3/6/9 poem and picture supporting lol
Poem flows well describing a happy rooster
Singing his happy good morning song to- perhaps
a not so receptive audience? Well done -AP

I very much doubt the neighbors were delighted. What a lovely picture of a rooster. Your poetry is right on the money. I enjoyed reading it. Have a great weekend. Karen :-)

I have always liked hearing roosters. Once, however, I lived next door to someone who had peacocks that roamed around. They do NOT have a melodic call...especially in the early morning hours. lol

Thank you for your very kind review. I appreciate it very much. We had a farm, not far from us where we lived where they had peacocks, and they make an awful noise.

It's tough creating a little mini-story in 3-6-9 syllables and here you are making it look easy! It is a cheerful rooster and your font and color make this POP. Isn't there a contest going on for this form or am I mistaken? This would be a great entry!

Thank you for your review. Yes, there is a contest for 369 form, but it Hass to be three stances. I only use one stanza to present it in this format.

Oh! Well, thanks for telling me. Sometimes I think I'm imagining things!

Is this a newe post? I seem to remember one similar to this a long time ago. It reminded me of my neighbor in urban Connecticut who once had a rooster that would crow in the morning until one day it mysteriously stopped. I figure they must've had it for dinner.

This is a new post. I did write one with a rooster in it quite a long time ago but it?s a little different than this one. As matter fact, it?s quite different. For your review.

I just wondered. Nothing wrong, I like roosters and your writing!

I can relate to this poem as a number of our neighbors have chickens, and of course, among them a rooster or two. The picture you have chosen fits the words very well. Thank you for sharing.

It was a fun poem to read.

This is an excellent poem. Only a rooster could get away with waking the neighbors. That's what roosters do. And what you do is make excellent poems! :) Have a good weekend!!! Alexandra x
